Are you passionate about increasing understanding of global issues, promoting action and inspiring change? Then the Active Communities Team is here to support you to take action on the issues you care about, in a way that suits you.
We’ve helped hundreds of supporters across the UK with talks and exhibitions, action days and theatre productions, on issues ranging from fair trade to women’s equality. Why not find out what you could do or see below for our latest themes, events and ideas to get you started.

Our Hot Topic for spring is the Millennium Development Goals. These are the current key targets in development, yet many people don’t know what they are or how they can contribute to their achievement. Find out how you can inform others and take action.
Our upcoming events
If your looking to generate ideas, need support getting a larger event or project underway or want to meet other like-minded supporters then our Action Workshops are where you need to be. We have several throughout the year in London, Birmingham and Edinburgh. Our next date is 26 September 2009 in London.
