At the moment, VSO’s work in Education is focusing mainly on supporting the international Education for All initiative – to achieve universal primary education by 2015. As a result, we are currently receiving fewer requests for Secondary Maths and Science Teachers.
If you are looking to volunteer overseas in the new future, we encourage you to register your interest, so we can judge where your skills are most likely to be needed. Any experience of mentoring, management, inclusion or specific special needs experience may enable us to match you to a placement in education management or inclusive education.
Heard about our new pension offer? Thanks to a new Government initiative you can now get your public sector pension reimbursed for the duration of your overseas placement - there really has never been a better time to apply. Find out more
